Shipping
Shipping is offered at a fixed rate of R2000 (Excl. VAT) , while orders exceeding R6000 (Excl. VAT) qualify for free shipping. This applies to deliveries within South Africa. Animal Health Distributors do not ship to countries other than South Africa.
Delivery Times:
For vaccines and cold chain products, delivery is guaranteed within 48 hours. Economy shipments may take between 72 to 96 hours. Orders are typically processed within 24 hours from payment confirmation. Delivery will take place only on work-days between 08:00 to 17:00. Saturday, after-hours, and early-bird deliveries are available for an additional fee by our couriers.
Delivery of Cold-Chain shipments:
Vaccines and all cold-chain shipments are temperature sensitive products, where the quality and effectiveness of the product rely on the maintenance of temperature ranges. Animal Health Distributors and their chosen courier partners ensure the temperature maintenance through effective packaging and storage. When ordering cold-chain products, please ensure your delivery details are correct and accurate, and that the stipulated receiver is available upon delivery.
Proof of Delivery:
The courier partner will require the stipulated receiver upon delivery. Please ensure the Proof of Delivery (POD) Details are capture accurately and that any damages are clearly written on the waybill. We recommend rejecting any damaged products. No claims will be entertained should damaged stock be accepted, or if a Proof of Delivery document is not endorsed.
Payment Terms
Payment vendors
Animal Health Distributors relies on PayGate and Yoco to process online card payments. Animal Health Distributors offers customers the option to choose between vendors.
Card acquiring and security
Card transactions will be acquired for Animal Health Distributors via the selected payment vendor.
PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African acquiring Banks. Payfast uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
Yoco is a PCI compliant payment service vendor and are EMV certified. Users may direct to Data and payments security at Yoco for more information
Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, or by bank transfer into the Animal Health Distributors bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.
Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by Animal Health Distributors separately from card details which are entered by the client on the payment vendor’s secure site.
At no stage does Animal Health Distributors have any access to the card details.

Return and Refunds policy
The provision of goods and services by Animal Health Distributors is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Animal Health Distributors will refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client within 24 hours of placemnt will attract a 5% administration fee. Cancellations that do not fall within a 24 hour period since order placement will attract a 30% administration fee due to the shipping process.
Returns are accepted only for unopened products meeting specific criteria, such as proof of delivery endorsement for damaged items and batch number verification. No exchanges are permitted.
